Jeff Lim   (CEO & VIC State Delegate)
Jeff brings more than 25 years of corporate experience to SUPA,  having founded and operated as the CEO of a successful software company.   Opting for a lifestyle change, Jeff and his wife decided to pursue their interest in SUP, establishing a SUP only business which focuses on teaching, as well as hiring and retailing SUPs. Jeff’s academic background is in the field of exercise science and he has worked with a range of elite athletes in a broad range of sports. He brings a unique blend of passion for the sport of SUP, academic background and corporate expertise that will help set the direction of SUPA as a dedicated SUP organisation during the formative years of this sport in Australia.


Darren Borg (Sport Development Director)
Darren is a qualified trainer, holding Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Level 4 SUP Instructor (Advanced Racing),  Level 6  Master Coach (SUP Surfing), SUP Instructor Trainer, SUP Surf Judge Trainer, Professional lifeguard Level 2.    He has elite-advanced level surfer and SUP racing and regularly competes in SUP race and surf events in Australia.   Darren has held numerous surfing boardrider committee positions over the years and is a member of SUP Central SUP Club. 
 Darren oversees opportunities for participation in sport for all sections of the community including sport-related projects, classes, programmes, coaching, club development and training at both recreation and competition at all levels, from local to national and international competition.


Peter Japp  (Events Director)

Peter brings a wealth of experience in organising and participating in SUP and longboard surfing events.  He has competed at most levels including the Australian Longboard Titles.   He  is owner of the Sutherland Shire Stand Up Paddle School and president of the Cronulla Sutherland Stand Up Paddle Club.   Peter holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and a  Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters) accreditation.


Yvette Burns (Women’s Participation Director)Yvette has an extensive background in a range of water sports and competition including surf lifesaving, outrigger canoeing, dragon boating, surfing, water skiing and stand up paddle.  She has competed at all levels of these sports including the Hawksbury Classic and various downwind SUP events.  Yvette is a Level 3 SUP Instructor.  She is also a SUP school owner and specialises in providing various types of SUP activities, events and tours for women of all ages.


George Ierodiaconou  (Media and Advertising Director)
George is a former News Limited journalist and editor. He most recently edited the Leader Group of newspapers and was responsible for various mastheads in Melbourne. He currently owns and edits SUP Mag, which also includes Kitesurfing mag.  George is an avid stand up paddle surfer who spends his free time surfing the beaches around Lorne in Victoria.


Will Anido (NSW State Delegate)
Will has been involved in SUP for many years.  He regularly competes in SUP surf and downwind events in Australia and overseas including the Molokai to Oahu crossing in Hawaii.    Will is a qualified trainer holding Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Level 4 SUP Instructor (Advanced Racing),  Level 6  Master Coach (SUP Surfing), ASI SUP Instructor Trainer,  Professional lifeguard Level 2.   He is a professional lifeguard and regularly coaches and trains lifeguards in other countries as well as conducting SUP coaching clinics for beginners through to elite competitors.


Kristy Quirk  (QLD State Delegate and Indigenous Participation)
Kristy created “Surfdancing” where participants combine dance moves with surfing on a surfboard. She now brings this concept to stand up paddle.  Kristy has also worked with indigenous groups ,and is enthusiastic about promoting SUP with indigenous dance.   Kristy is Level 1 Stand Up Paddle Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water) Level 2 Surfing Coach, Level 2 Surf Judge, and a qualified dance instructor.  She has been instructing dance for over 15 years and surf coaching for over 10 years.  She has experience competing in both short and longboard surfing competitions and has represented Queensland in the Australian titles.


Cinde Fisher  (WA State Delegate)
Cinde started surfing and SUP at an early age. Her father was one of the first people in South Africa to make stand up paddle craft, back in the 1950s.   She has competed in Longboard competitions in South Africa between 1994 and 2000  and currently competes in SUP events in Australia.   Cinde is a Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters) and SUP school owner providing SUP lessons and activities. She was also a surf lifesaving training (nippers).
