The event is held over 2 days and hosted by the Newcastle Stand Up Paddle Club.

Participants and spectators can watch the competition from the surf club, chat to exhibitors, view the latest SUP boards, clothing and equipment,  find out about joining a SUP club or how to enrol in learn to SUP lessons.

Free board testing and demonstrations will be provided by exhibitors.

Food, sausage sizzle also available, making it a great day out.

Free entry for spectators.


Divisions
Open Men.  Open Women
Senior Men.  Senior Women (age 45 & over)
Junior Boys.  Junior Girls (age under 18)
Separate Male/Female Divisions.  Age at 31st December of the year event is held.


Classes
Surfing. No limit to board size or shape.

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th trophies
Open Men 1st prize.  SUP wheels by Street SUP. 


Program
Registration: from 7.00 am on 26 April 2012
Start:  8.00 am

3pm. Presentations: 27 April 2012.

Social evening:  Meet up after the event for socialising and dinner:
- Thursday 26 April.  at Bar Beach Bowling Club Merewether 
- Friday 27 April. at Burwood Inn Merewether  MAP

 

Registration & Entry
Entry closing date: Closed.  Very small number of beach entries available. 
Fee: $40 (one division).  $15 extra division

Entry Conditions

Round 1 qualifying event is open to everyone.  First to pay, first to play.

NSW and QLD finalists will automatically go into Round 2.  Vacant positions will be filled by the next best semi finalists.     

Membership:  Must be a SUPA member or a SUPA affiliated SUP club member.
